SoulBounce Blended & Beat Vol. 3
SoulBounce put up a new Blended & Beat today and I am very excited to tear into it. If you like mixtapes that flow so flawlessly between songs you can barely tell where one begins and the next ends, you will probably like these. At least that's what the first two did. Would definitely recommend to all that they download. A fantastic way to hear some new (and old) stuff and a just an all-around fun listen.

I love that you can just click "play" and be off and listening with no download worries... OOOoooOOO! Sexy MF!
ReplyDeleteAlmost through with this excellent mix. I need to listen to far more Q-Tip, De La Soul, The Roots... and pretty much everything else! Solid grooves throughout.
ReplyDeleteBy the by, I changed a setting for OTH:GW and P&R to send us both emails whenever comments are made. Feel free to remove yo self from it, but I figured it would be easier than constantly going back to check. Sucka!
That's definitely awesome. I have been meaning to ask you how to do that because I always forget to check the comments. I may still have to ask you how to do it so I can set it up for my own blog.
ReplyDeleteI haven't listened to much De La or Roots either, but Q-Tip blows me away. If you haven't checked out much of A Tribe Called Quest, I would absolutely suggest you do so. In fact I have a couple of Best Buy gift cards that I think I'm going to use to order The Low End Theory and Midnight Marauders on RECORD!
OH SHNAP! You can order vinyl via The Buy online?! I now know what my one gift card will be going towards...
ReplyDeleteI'll be making it a point to DL some A Tribe Called Quest stuff. I know I've heard a few albums through Jared, but nothing I've ever had in my collection. And speaking of Prince... I really have to play you The Gold Experience. It has taken me a while to get into 90's Prince, but that album is killer.
You can definitely order vinyl from Best Buy online. I haven't ordered any yet (almost did yesterday, but I'm waffling) so I don't know what the experience is like though. What would be awesome is if they would let you order it for store pick-up and avoid a shipping charge like Borders will do for special orders.
